Following a ridiculously awful flight that leads to his pet's death, Nashawn Wade files a lawsuit against the airline, and wins a multimillion-dollar settlement. Determined to create a better flying experience, Nashawn starts his own airline, one that caters to an African-American clientele. Going into business with a tricked-out plane piloted by the smooth Capt. Mack, the airline hits a snag when it has to deal with the family of Elvis Hunkee.

Best movie of this year hands down!
Powerful
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
This is a disgraceful movie. I'm black and I couldn't believe what I was watching. The plot, acting, direction & jokes are horrendous. And the stereotypes...The least said about them the better. At the beginning of this film, despite it being boring, I was actually hoping that it would pick up a bit of momentum. Kevin Hart doesn't play the typical small guy that starts trouble type role in this movie like how he does nowadays. His character gets a load of money and starts his own airline, NWA. Yeah, that's what it's called(!) Anyway, all was going good for me until the white family were introduced as the "Hunkie Family". It was then I knew what kind of film I was going to watch.I only joke I laughed at was the Malcolm X Terminal. That was it. I can't believe such an abomination was allowed to put out to the world. Black movies shouldn't only just be serious and powerful stuff like "Boyz N The Hood", "Juice" & "Menace II Society". There should be funny stuff but not this! I advise everyone to stay away from this movie. You're gonna waste sweet precious time of your life that you'll never get back.
This movie patronized black people to such an extent that I found it offensive. e.g Black pilot hangs fluffy dice in cockpit! If you are able to see past the stereotyping without squirming too much out of sheer embarrassment, it still wasn't a particularly funny movie about an (arguably mildly amusing) pimped up plane with extrovert cabin staff and very little else. Fun? I suppose some people might find that mildly amusing, but it just didn't come together at all well in my opinionNo real plot, dull scripting and mediocre acting made watching this movie a waste of part of my life that I will never recover. I rate this the worst I have seen in a very long time
To be honest, this movie was not as bad as the countless reviews have been saying, so I'll be nice and give this a 5. It was an entertaining film, mostly because of the infused hip-hop dance jams used, but for the humor of the movie? Eh not so much. Very crude, nasty, derogatory jokes only go so far before you can't bear to hear or see anymore. One of the very first scenes where the guy gets stuck in the toilet and nasty bathroom related sound effects are used almost ended it for me there. The countless stereotypes (black, white, Asian, Hispanic, Muslim, homosexual) is the director thinking "Hey,if we mix all of these different styles of people together and poke fun at them we can get a funny movie!" The movie is about as funny as a picture of Joan Rivers in a bathing suit. This movie gives the black culture a bad name and even Snoop Dog couldn't save it. The special effects guy must have been asleep at the switch because they were plane (pun intended) awful. Monique was hilarious in this film acting like her usual "Oooh, you go girl!" self; everyone else just sucked. What's sad is that towards the end the film decided to get serious and incorporated a love story involving the father and daughter which seemed ridiculous in the context of this film. It's not a downright terrible movie. You could probably watch this with your friends and get a couple of laughs out of it. Just don't think of it as some sort of artistic painting of the black culture.
...but I love this movie. For what it's worth, I am a white gay male of well-above-average intelligence....but I laugh my ass off every time I see this movie. As completely mindless, silly, joyful entertainment, I rank it up there with other classics (in my mind) like "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," "Half Baked," and the "Scary Movie" offerings. Lighten up, light up, and enjoy! (For God's sake, at least there's plenty of eye candy.) My favorite moments: (1) Any scene with Kevin Hart, who is friggin' gorgeous; (2) Mo'Nique; there ain't never 'nuff 'Nique---beauty, brains, humor---man, she's the answer; (3) "I'm a playah!" (4) Method Man is adorable (regardless of what my friends say), and last, but far from least....Snoop! If Snoop's in it, I love it!
