Riot at the Rite
In the spring of 1913, Parisian businessman Gabriel Astruc opens a new theater on the Champs Elysées. The first performance is the premiere of Igor Stravinsky's 'The Rite of Spring', danced by the Ballet Russes. The rehearsal process is extremely fraught: the orchestra dislike Stravinsky's harsh, atonal music; the dancers dislike the 'ugly' choreography of Vaslav Nijinsky. The volatile, bisexual Nijinsky is in a strained relationship with the much older Sergei Diaghilev, the Ballet Russes' charismatic but manipulative impresario. Public expectation is extremely high after Nijinsky's success in 'L'apres-midi d'un faune'. Finally, 'The Rite of Spring' premieres to a gossip-loving, febrile, fashion-conscious Parisian audience sharply divided as to its merits.

Fallen Art
Fallen Art presents the story of General A, a self-proclaimed artist. His art, however, consists of a deranged method of stop motion photography, where the individual frames of the movie are created by photographs made by Dr. Johann Friedrich, depicting the bodies of dead soldiers, pushed down by Sergeant Al from a giant springboard onto a slab of concrete.

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

Compared to the first one, this is too whack for any viewing. Looked like Tyler Perry hijacked the production. Sorry for being honest but they should have done a better job.

Like most who purchased this movie or watched it...it was due to me being a huge fan of the first Stomp The Yard. To say I was let down is somewhat of an understatement. First of all the second movie starts off the same as the first...dance competition followed by needless violence. That's where the similarities end. First of all…Collins Pennie (Chance in the movie) is not as talented of a dancer as Columbus Short (DJ in the first movie). That much is evident from the opening dance scene. My opinion of him is pretty much justified throughout the entire movie. Then there is the time-line problem. Stomp The Yard was released in 2007 and Stomp The Yard 2 was released in 2010. Columbus Short's character DJ should still be enrolled in Truth as a returning Senior. If he graduated early which is possible, it's hard to believe that the Thetas have endured another losing streak to the Mu Gammas which is clearly the case, as direction of this movie would have you believe. This could have easily been fixed had the film makers offered up more money for Columbus to actually star in this movie instead of making brief cameos. Imagine this…Chance comes to Truth needing direction and DJ mentors him having experienced similar issues during his initial semester at college. Also imagine DJ instructing Chance that he has to be open to improving himself…in life as well as Stepping. Imagine then, the dance finale of seeing Chance and DJ stepping on the same stage. Imagine DJ turning Theta Nu Theta over to Chance as he prepares for graduation. Also it would have been nice to see Megan Good make a cameo as DJ's fiancée. Now a plot including these bits and pieces would have made for a much better movie. That's just my opinion though. Before I forget…did I mention that both fraternities had better steppers in 2007 than 2010, laugh out loud.

This movie was not what I expected, it's full of inglorious acting and dancing... but most importantly, where is "Columbus Short" and the few great actors from the last film? I don't understand what's going on, but is it even lawful for them to even put "Columbus Short" on IMDb as an actor if he isn't acting in the movie? OMG!! This 2nd version is trash and I noticed that there is a new director "Rob Hardy" and a new writer "Albert Leon" and both of these gentlemen need to give up writing and filming altogether, because its as if they created a replica of the first Stomp Yard as a spoof (a joke) and please forward this message to that new inexperienced lead actor to find a job at Dennys and stay there... forever. OMG!!

I can't believe that I am the first one here to review this tittle.Fist of all I expected much more from this movie.First part was really great but this one is boring.Plot is melodramatic and clichéd,story is very predictable. But this is a dance movie and these things are not so important for this type of movie...what is really important is dancing and dancing here is lame, uninteresting. You won't see some crazy moves,if you want to see something like that then watch Step Up 3D.Acting here is average, whole atmosphere in this movie is really dark ,there isn't any fun.And what to say about soundtrack ...It has some really cool songs but this movie needs more than few cool songs.I am little disappointed but if you liked Stomp the Yard then Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming is not as bad as rating says.Just watch it...
