During the Cold War, an organization called "Patriot" created a super-hero squad, which includes members of multiple soviet republics. For years, the heroes had to hide their identities, but in hard times they must show themselves again.

Lack of good storyline.
A lot more amusing than I thought it would be.
This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
The film has the look and feel of a video game. It moves too quickly at times, as if being advanced to the next level of a game. It sometimes feel they neglect showing crucial events. It was pretty much the Russian version of 'Fantastic Four'. This ambitious project has some really excellent effects and great moments, but overall it was just not compelling enough.
Well, I did not know what to expect when I first started watching the Guardians. I did not expect much - maybe that's why I was not disappointed. The movie had a budget o approx. $5,000,000. And I think they spent $ 4,999,990 on CGIs and pay for the actors and the crew, and suddenly realized that they had $10 left and no script. So they've hired a $10-writer to put something together very quickly. That's how this movie felt to me. Great visuals with very little sense. If you do not need a solid story and you like a lot of digitally generated visual effects bashing each other over the heads then you will enjoy this movie for sure...
i watched this out of curiosity..and i found it not bad.it was so much better than the awful neo nazi avenger and iron man films,where i couldn't care less about any of them.these characters though cheesy are likable and the villain dangerous.the females are also so god damn gorgeous and 10 times better looking than any in the American superhero films..all in all likable with different types of heros and very pretty females..8/10
The plot is very rushed. It took them 15 minutes to get the team together, even though they were all hiding. The avengers took 40 minutes and 5 movies to get their team together. The CGI is acceptable for 5 million $. It's better than the last air bender which costed 150 million $. The movie feels like you're watching it on fast forward.they have the worlds worst villain. He is a mix of bane and whiplash.i hope they fix it all in the sequel
