Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .
Absolutely the worst movie.
The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
I don't even know where to begin with this movie. He finds out he is going to die then instead of spending the rest of his time with his family, HE SPENDS IT WITH A GUY HE JUST MET! WHY?! WANT TO KNOW WHAT "FAMILY ORIENTED", PLASTIC SMELLING, OLD, NON-BALD EAGLE LOOKIN STARBUCKS REGULAR CAME IN AND SERVED THIS IDEA LIKE LO MAIN NOODLES! AND THE WORST PART IS SOMEBODY LIKED IT! THIS MOVIE'S PLOT MAKES SO LITTLE SENSE THAT I STARTED FORGETTING THINGS TO ALLOW ROOM IN MY HEAD TO UNDERSTAND IT! This whole movie should be about him in the mental hospital because he would rather hang out with a balding Gary Busey with alzheimer's than his own family. I got more of a gay pride message than friendship because he chooses this guy over his wife. Also, as Ultron goes to attack him Vision uses the infinity stone in his head to destroy him.
Two terminally ill men escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to-dos before they die. The Bucket List is a 2007 Drama starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman and it's directed by Rob Reiner who also directed Nicholson in the 1992 film 'A Few Good Men'. The Bucket List is a movie that i feel that is quite underrated in my opinion, the performances by both Nicholson and Freeman are amazing and they both shine threw out the movie plus the ending is quite sad and moving as a whole and the messages that the film sends about life and that is never too late to do what you didn't do when you were young is not as silly as it may sounds or as dumb as critics said especially when Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 40% but audiences gave it a 77% which is nice. The comedy that is a big factor threw out the whole film is quite funny and especially from Jack Nicholson who always knows how to sell comedy right, there's always a lot of adventure and travel threw out various countries from skydiving (the cgi was pretty weird in that scene and out of place) to even car racing and Egypt or the Jungle. The Bucket List packs 2 great performances from it's leading men, the drama is moving and the story it self is quite charming and in my opinion it's a quite underrated movie.
The Bucket List is a comedy-drama film directed by Rob Reiner. The stars are Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. The story is about two 70-year-old men, Carter Chambers (Freeman) a mechanic, and the billionaire Edward Cole (Nicholson). They meet for the first time in the hospital after both have been diagnosed with lung cancer. They have just 6 months to live. Carter begins writing a "bucket list", things to do before he will die. Edward finds the list an persuades Carter to do everything on the list (and adds more things to do). With his money the could realize all their craziest dreams in the months they have left. Carter agrees and the adventure begins. It's a wonderful story with great characters. It's funny but it also teaches us a lot about life, especially what's really important in our lives, so I would really recommend this film!
After few minutes, I have feeling that I have also some disease. Too depressive and cold. This movie have no real value or meaning, everything is vague and really cold in feelings and acting. Dialogues are like reading statements, trying to say something but saying nothing. First movie which get me that feeling: "I am here right now, watching TV and there is something, which should be less than background" and absolutely not concerning me. I am turning off and going to write review. In this kind of movies are better actors, who have more contact with real life and are more trying to act. Terrible movie with A class actors. Freeman and Nicholson seems to be bored by themselves and regrets to sign for this. I don't understand, where it gets so much points. Maybe they were trying to get wider audience. Or some nominations. I don't even know if this movie have some nominations, but I will be first one in the cinema to go out in the middle of it.There are similar and really better movies, like German Knocking on the heavens door. Or some movie with queen Latifah, and also another french movie with quadriplegic.
