I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.
It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
When I saw Bruce Willis in the credits I thought this would be a great movie. He might be more involved but he wasn't. Only his name was there, not him. Big disappointment. Movie was good, a lot of OMG does this really happen? I suppose I expected more with Bruce Willis' name but he didn't deliver. Good movie, scary thoughts as to does this actually happen and if it does, people need to be a lot more careful and the people that are supposed to protect us, get with it people! This is beyond scary.
you see, I noticed that in 12 monkeys poor bruce has problems. Then in this I see he has very similar issues. now when Tom hanks was confronted with some ass backwards negros...he had to wait for help...in GUNMAN, sean penn smokes them immediately. is this movie about bruce willis and his patience? is it about his partner not giving a fuc* about the fuc%ing character MOS DEF? well....redo this film or don't do it at all. here at this point I have to write more nonsense to appease the company website whereas if this gets published, all I would point out to you is that the job and the backstabbing happening is the fault of interacial tension....supposedly.
The idea for this movie is perfect for Willis: a guy who has all the odds against him rises to save the day. However, here the concept fails as the crew takes itself too seriously and overdoes virtually everything. The first thing that comes to mind is Willis' makeup. He looks like he's still wearing his Death Becomes Her makeup. He's just plain ugly, he looks way too old to still be holding a job and there is no strength hidden behind those features.Mos Def, who is also well cast, has dialogs pushed down his throat that must have made him wince. He can do so much better. Now he's just another whino. Very annoying.Overall, aside the casting and the idea for the movie, there is nothing to tell here. It's run-of-the-mill stuff and you have to squeeze out some enthusiasm to keep focused on the movie. Five minutes into the movie you know how it will end and not much later you know both the plot and the bad guys. With the uninspired execution the movie lands before properly taking off.
The movie has a good mix of action and dialogue. The story is really good and original compared to a lot of movies in this genre. The plot is not too complicated but still has suspense throughout. Bruce Willis does these action films really well, I think its his screen presence. Mos Def has good chemistry with Bruce Willis, although he speaks just a bit too fast for me. There are humorous and also serious scenes which makes you feel for the characters and you sense a friendship forming. The villain also has quite a few lines and is well acted with strong emotion and adds to the impact of the story. If you want to watch a decent action movie after a long day in the office, this is it. It is currently rated 6.6 which I think is a bit harsh, probably 7.5 :)
