Such a frustrating disappointment
If you don't like this, we can't be friends.
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
1. The map they put up was borrowed (stolen) from the 40th parallel Canada-US border issue from the 1800s for a small section of land in Minnesota/Canada. 2. What is suppose to be a comedy starts off w/police boarding a band bus; getting tossed off for acting stupid. Their response was to start shooting at the bus killing band members in a not-so-comical way. 3. The rest of the movie consists of a lot of pre and mid-teen sex/male jokes (Called crude humor in opening restrictions. You know the type; cheaply repeated thousands of time in film.) 4. Oh, the rest of the filler is a lot of low-level, minimal intelligence, standup comedy on Canadian vs. US male strutting/posing.
Not worth the time! Pull some weeds in the yard instead.
The first film was just about watchable but certainly not good enough to warrant a sequel. But here we are, and what an insulting train wreck. I can't understand who they're aiming this utter dross at, is it pre-teens or trailer habitants? either way, if you have any sophistication in your comedy choices then this will leave you stone cold, bereft, depressed and saddened. I weep when i see 10/10 scores and people waxing lyrical as though they've just had a comedic epiphany. It's worse than crap, it's an abomination.
This movie was insulting to to me and my buddies, my early 20s have been ruined and I'm now reivaluating my life
